Yeah, we do not usually inform about non-scene releases but
this Screener of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets is so
 popular I dare to make a small exception. Besides, our
comments are constantly spammed by comments talking about
it. Almost everyone expected a Russian R5 rip of National
Treasure 2 many months ago, but it hasn’t been released
yet and it seems more probable we will see directly dvdrip
than dvdscr or r5 rip. Anyway, this release offers a solid
quality (if you consider it’s VHS source) in full screen resolution
on 1 CD.

We are finally back up, and I’ll start with posting some of
 the releases we missed. iMBT came out with the DVDRip
first, but it was nuked for bad.ivtc. NeDiVx did a nice job
with this quick PROPER. The movie is starring comedy star
Paul Rudd and sex icon Eva Longoria Parker. Ratings
indicate that you shouldn’t get your hopes up… Quality is
the regular 1 CD.

Synopsis: Devastated when his fiancée Kate (Eva Longoria
 Parker) is killed on their wedding day, Henry (Paul Rudd)
reluctantly agrees to consult a psychic named Ashley (Lake
 Bell) at the urging of his sister Chloe (Lindsay Sloane).
Despite his skepticism over her psychic abilities, Henry finds
 himself falling hard for Ashley, and vice versa. But there

There is an aspect of this film which I personally will enjoy,
which is the fact that its shot similarly to films like Cloverfield
 and .REC (i.e “Amateurishly”). It gives a horror film such an
 authentic feel which feels fresh compared to all the other stuff
 out there. Enjoy the gore.

Quality: The quality of this release is very good for a 1CD
 DVDRip. Unfortunately it seems that less and less 2 CD
releases are being released by the major scene groups
these days. Image quality looks crisp (a slight sepia look,
 which I find quite annoying, but thats just post-production
 on the film) and the audio sounds very good as well.

Legendary director George A. Romero proves that his career
 isn’t one foot in the grave with this fifth entry in his zombie
 series. For DIARY OF THE DEAD, Romero goes back to the
 indie roots of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD as he focuses on
 a young team of filmmakers as they try to fend off zombie
 attacks.

Another new DVDRip today courtesy of well known group BaLD
this time for UK comedy “St.Trinians”. I know nothing of this
movie but it looks like an interesting comedy and since iI like
english humor I’ll certainly be getting this. This stars lots of
well knonw actors like Russel Brand, and Colin Firth so that

St Trinian’s, an anarchical school for uncontrollable girls who
save the school from bankruptcy by stealing the painting
‘Girl With A Pearl Earring’.The film starts with Annabel Fritton
being admitted to the school. When there Annabel meets Kelly,
head girl of St Trinians, Kelly walks Annabel around the school
and introduces each of the different cliques in the school - Posh
totty, Chavs, Emos, Geeks and First years. Annabel has a rough
first night in the school where her towel and dressing gown are
taken from the shower and she is broadcast on the internet by
the other girls while running naked from the shower to the
dormitory. She phones her dad and demands to be taken
away from the school.

Well, its always a pleasant surprise to see a DiAMOND
release. Whenever one comes out its always a high
quality rip of a highly anticipated film. One missed call
is an American adaption of the great Japanese horror
film. The ratings on this film look terrible even for a horror
film (they generally get bad ratings). 2.6 on IMDB and 0%
on RT is completely inexcusable, but you never know with
movies like this. In any case I recommend you watch the
original Japanese version “Chakushin Ari” over this. It looks
like Hollywood has butchered another modern Japanese horror
classic.

Quality: Well, its DiAMOND. Previously only a CAM version of
this was available so a DiAMOND dvdrip is great. Has DiAMOND
turned to 1CD DVDRips only now or what though? Lets hope
not because a lot of people will be turning to re-encodes. They
have thrown in AC3 audio into this release however which is
good news.
